The packing up of the Ragz Davidian
Studios here in Nowheresville TX has been under way. It's a long
grueling process, but one that must be done. Things have been set into
motion to lug it all across the U.S. back to where I began, the cold
barren apocalyptic world known as Flint,MI.The actual move shall take
place the 16,17 & 18 of this month,so time is running out! But, it's
a much need move, one that hopefully will get things in order so that
my wife and I can get back on our feet.
Because of the move,
commissions have to be put on hold, but please keep them coming in, as
soon as I get set up and organized in Flint, I want a good workload of
commissions to continue to help us get situated. I will continue to
offer super deals, sales on previous artwork, sketchies, whatever it
takes. So please keep checking my Facebook- http://www.facebook.com/pages/RagzDandelion/105897959925
for all the latest deals and to see what artwork I have for sale. The
campaign over the past few months has been really helpful in keeping us
afloat and for getting things in motion for this move. We can't thank
everyone enough for all you have done to help us. Keep spreadin' the
word, we have a long ways to go yet. Once we get moved and situated,
then the process of getting the much needed help for healthcare for my
wife and I. It's not going to be a pleasant experience, but your help
helps to give us the foundation we so desperately need to soldier on.Any
help is truly appreciated, anything from spreading the word, to buying
artwork, to make connections for healthcare and job
opportunities-anything, it all helps us tremendously. We are both
itching to get back on our feet and to get to a position where we can
help YOU! I count you all as my friends and we're all in this together.
This whole experience has really opened my eyes to how much we all need
one another, not just to help in times of need, but to help each other
make our dreams come true. It's very important to me to be a part of a
community that are there for each other, to collaborate, to support each
others endeavors and, well, to build real life friendships.
So,
again, we couldn't have done this without your help, my Creeple Peeple!
Let's make this a year of rejuvenation and recreation so that we shall
conquer the world together!!
Anywhoodles-That being said, I still find a little time to squeeze in some sketchies while resting my sore muscles between the lifting and boxing up of The Ragz Studios. Take a gander-and enjoy!!

OOGLIN' & BOOGLIN'!
This weekend I have some commissions to finish up then it's packing
time! The move is getting closer, and it wouldn't have been possible if
it wasn't for the help from all the people that have commissioned me for
artwork, or bought some previous pieces or just plain donated to our
fund. I can't thank you all enough for all you've done for us. It's
gonna be a grueling, tough next few months, but it's us finally moving
forward instead of just being trapped in limbo.
But, we still have a long way to go, so I'll still be available for commissions, so keep 'em coming. It just may take a while longer for the artwork to get to you being that the packing, moving and getting ourselves situated will take up most of our time. I will continue to have deals on my artwork posted here and on my Facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/RagzDandelion/105897959925?ref=hl.

SPIRIT BOTTLES FOR SALE!!
Here we have some artwork that I painted on various bottles, mostly wine
bottles. Something new I tackled in 2012 and want to continue eventually
after our big move in Feb(hopefully!). Each bottle is painted with
acrylic paints.
So, I thought I'd try selling off some of them so not only would the sales help go toward our moving fund, but also give me less things to pack for the move.
Each bottle is $20(that includes the postage & handling).
If Interested, email me at http://ragzter@aol.com with the description & # of the bottle to make sure you get the correct bottle. I take Paypal, check or money order.
Unfortunately, the bottles are empty.

MISSION COMMISSION 2013!
2013 is now here and time to get busy!
We have alot to do to get ready for our move to Michigan. A lot of stuff I have no clue on how to arrange, but such is life. We need to rent a moving van for all of our stuff, an RV to move us across the country(My wife is unable to travel by car, plane or train,so we have to rent an RV to accommodate her needs for the trip.),balance everyone's schedule to get it all done in and,of course, box everything up for the move. I'm not looking forward to all this, but I am excited about being back in a civilized world amongst friends and family and the hopes of getting things going so that my wife & I can get some decent healthcare. We need to get fixed up, so that we can move forward. I hate being stagnant. It's driving me insane.
BUT, thanks to everyone that has commissioned me for artwork over the last few months, not only has it helped immensely for our moving fund, but it has kept me busy and from being stagnant artistically.
I want everyone to know how important this has been for us and how much we appreciate all that everyone has done to help us. During this tough time, knowing people really do care and want and have helped, makes it so much easier to deal with. It's still mighty hard, but you have given us that extra kick in the pants we all need to keep plugging on.
Of course, we still have a ways to go. So, I am still available for commissions at a reduced rate til we move and beyond, so if you are still interested in purchasing artwork, commissions or donations to the "Get Us To Michigan So That We Can Get Some Healthcare" fund, feel free to contact me at http://ragzter@aol.com or instant message me on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/Ragzdandelion . I will continue to have artwork deals posted here & on my Facebook. Also, feel free to visit my DeviantArt page, where I have post of my artwork in case you are interested in buying any originals or prints(some original pieces may not be available, contact me if you are interested and I will let you know) at http://ragzdandelion.deviantart.com/ .
I also have copies of my artbook- PUNCHING A HOLE IN REALITY WITH MY PENCIL- available for $10, where I will include a personalized sketch on the last page of for you.
AND, if anyone has any information about the best deals, or suggestions for good moving companies, RV Rentals and other such ideas, satisfied experiences, etc.,we would appreciate that also.
Feel free to contact me at http://ragzter@aol.com for any questions, suggestions, comments and just to say "Hi" if ya wanna. We cannot do this without you!!
One of my main concerns about doing this is my fear of driving fans, readers, friends, possible employers, etc away by posting these requests for help. I know it can be a downer, and even irritating to read every week or so, so I try to keep it at a minimum. Most of the responses we have been given have been positive, but, alas, this is the internet, so once in awhile we do get negative junk, or suspicious remarks. But, I try not to pummel my readers over the head with this fundraising thing, but, I also have to let everyone know the our status and that we still need help. So, please, hang in there with us, it's not an easy journey. I try to throw in alot of other stuff that I hope you find entertaining and interesting. One thing that's most frustrating about being an struggling artist is when we don't get any feedback at all. It's the same with any creative person. It's good to know when what we create has struck a nerve in someone, whether it is positive or negative. Constructive criticism is very important for growth. And, it's also interesting to see how other perceive one's work.
Ok, enough jabberin'. Time to show off some of the latest commissions I have done for people that have helped us out in this moving fund thingy. Again, THANK YOU so much for everything! Let's get it on!
