We all had a great time at the ART CRAWL EXPERIENCE last Saturday night in Anaheim, CA . Lots o' cool artwork on display and being made, a handful of awesome old cars parked for us to gawk at and, well, a cool way to spend a Saturday night. One of my favorite works on display was at the SARAH BAIN GALLERY which had a show featuring the paintings and sculptures of DR. SEUSS. I had never seen any of his artwork like this before and it was awesome. Here be some photos of the awesomeness-

There's just too much great art from the show that I would like to post, but just not enough room. But I did meet up with David Castro from TACO COMICS and we traded sketch cards artwork. Here's what he did for me-

And here are the cards I drew up for him-

Tomorrow night I will be a special guest on WHISPERS IN THE DARK, an internet radio talk show featuring works of a darker nature-poetry, stories, art, music etc hosted by the coolest voice in radio & podcasting-VIKTOR AURELIUS. He'll be talking about the recent artwork I did for him for his original audio drama- LILITH'S CHILDREN. Also on the program will be my friend and an awesome poet- MICHAEL ROMERO. It should be pretty fun. This is the first time I've done a live podcast, so that should prove to be interesting in itself! Please give it a listen and tell us what you think! Here's the link for the show-

It's that time again! Time to catch ya up on the various color pieces I'v done in the past month or so! Yay! So here we go-

The first in my GLAM RAWK GRANDPAS series, meet RIKKITY RIKKITZ!

The colored version of a piece I posted earlier- LAY IT DOWN LIKE A ROCK N' ROLL CLOWN. Colored in Photoshop.

One of the Dr. Sketchy's Anti - Art School models. Here I tightened up the pencils only to loosen her up with watercolors. I call it KAKIA- GODDESS OF VICE.

Another Dr. Sketchy's drawing, again, tightened up the pencils and colored with watercolors. Named it TOO PRETTY TO DIE.

A new Shadowgirls piece, painted this time with acrylics on watercolor paper. I named it ONE LAST LOOK AS SHE FALLS.

I thought I'd take a hand at re-creating a piece I originally did digitally in Photoshop, using acrylic paint on canvas. It's my biggest piece yet - 24 x 30. SCHLOCK N' ROLL SHIVA.

All of these works and more can be see and viewed at higher resolutions on my DeviantArt site at

And don't forget to pick up the latest issue of FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND. I have a small piece in this issue! Buy it and depand more Ragz Art!! Yay!!

Some more sketchbookin' and pencil action for ya-

Some random Anime type girl, only drawn less anime-like. If that makes any sense.

WARBLADE- from the old Image comics series W.I.L.D.Cats. My fave member of the group. Always thought he was a really cool character design.

The Big G, of course-GODZILLA!! Yeee-aaaargh! FWOOSH!

The sexiest Avenger-THE SCARLET WITCH!

And here be an attempt at a self portrait. The thing about doing self portraits is that you can always make yourself better looking and cooler than you are in real life! So Be It!!

A while back while in one of my animation classes, I scribbled out a little comic that I rather enjoyed and recently I remembered it and re-did it-this time featuring two rock n' roll characters I came up with-Tyla Stevenz & Smiff Roberts. Larger, higher definition scans can be seen here- and here- if it may be a bit hard to read.
