It's been a week now since we packed up and trekked across the country
to end up back in my home town of Swartz Creek,MI. The drive was long
but we made it without any problems thanks to Dan Thompson & Denise
Dunlap, who went above and beyond to help us get here. Now, we've been
trying to settle in and get organized before the next ordeal-switching
everything over to the new address, getting state driver's licenses, and
starting the paperwork to get the much needed healthcare for Stacey
& I so we can be active members of society again. It's going to be a
tough ride, but it must be done. We're back in civilization, with the
support of family and friends to help make it happen. And, again, I can't
thank the people enough who ordered artwork, commissions and who
contributed to the funds to make it happen.
The Ragz studio is no
more, but thanks to my buddy Roy and his sister Veronica, I have a space
to plant my drawing table so I can get back to work drawing new
projects, commissions and such. So, I AM OPEN FOR BUSINESS!! Yay!!
Anyone
interested in artwork, or purchasing previous pieces, please feel free

It's
been an interesting mix of emotions being back in Michigan. Of course,
there's the getting myself re-aquanted with the wintery cold stuffinz
known as snow, which I haven't had to deal with for the past 15+ years.
Yeep! My car wasn't made for that stuff, but it's cool to tool around
and see some old familiar stuff peppered in between all the new stuff
that has sprung up in the area over the years. Miss my old haunts though
that have since disappeared, like good old Wyatt Earp Records. But, there's so many new places yet to be explored.
I
haven't had much time to do any new art pieces, but starting Monday
it's back to the drawing board and time to start slinging my pencil with
new commissions and stuff to get ready for The Flint Comix Con in
April, where I will be having a table to sell artwork, comics and stuff
and meeting the comic fans of Flint! Can't wait!!
So,
I hope to see you all there as I start a new adventure in Ragztory.
Let's make this an exciting adventure full of new hopes, new friends and
new artwork!!
