It's been a week now since we packed up and trekked across the country
to end up back in my home town of Swartz Creek,MI. The drive was long
but we made it without any problems thanks to Dan Thompson & Denise
Dunlap, who went above and beyond to help us get here. Now, we've been
trying to settle in and get organized before the next ordeal-switching
everything over to the new address, getting state driver's licenses, and
starting the paperwork to get the much needed healthcare for Stacey
& I so we can be active members of society again. It's going to be a
tough ride, but it must be done. We're back in civilization, with the
support of family and friends to help make it happen. And, again, I can't
thank the people enough who ordered artwork, commissions and who
contributed to the funds to make it happen.
The Ragz studio is no
more, but thanks to my buddy Roy and his sister Veronica, I have a space
to plant my drawing table so I can get back to work drawing new
projects, commissions and such. So, I AM OPEN FOR BUSINESS!! Yay!!
Anyone
interested in artwork, or purchasing previous pieces, please feel free

It's
been an interesting mix of emotions being back in Michigan. Of course,
there's the getting myself re-aquanted with the wintery cold stuffinz
known as snow, which I haven't had to deal with for the past 15+ years.
Yeep! My car wasn't made for that stuff, but it's cool to tool around
and see some old familiar stuff peppered in between all the new stuff
that has sprung up in the area over the years. Miss my old haunts though
that have since disappeared, like good old Wyatt Earp Records. But, there's so many new places yet to be explored.
I
haven't had much time to do any new art pieces, but starting Monday
it's back to the drawing board and time to start slinging my pencil with
new commissions and stuff to get ready for The Flint Comix Con in
April, where I will be having a table to sell artwork, comics and stuff
and meeting the comic fans of Flint! Can't wait!!
So,
I hope to see you all there as I start a new adventure in Ragztory.
Let's make this an exciting adventure full of new hopes, new friends and
new artwork!!

SKETCHIES IN LIMBO!
Everything is pretty much boxed up,that includes all my art supplies.
So, I just have an ink pen and a sketchbook to keep me entertained til
the move in a few days. This is the worst part about moving to me-the
waiting. I just wanna get it all done and over with. The next step is to
load up the Uhaul, which will take a few days. Then, the long ass trip.
But, I can't wait to get on the road and out of here.
Til then tho, here are a few sketchies from my sketchbook that I've laid down like a rock n' roll clown! Enjoy!!

A BOXFULL OF RAGZ!
One more week to go!
I'm about 75% boxed up,stressed beyond belief and anxious but excited at the same time to finally be out of this state. Gonna miss my studio though, one of the few things I like out here. But, I'll have another one of these days, til then, I'll have my little space for just a drawing table and computer, but also the companionship of my buddy Roy to make up for it. Roy has been my bud since High School, and, hell, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have had many misadventures in a couple rock bands, a comedy troupe, moving to Las Vegas...the guy always seems to be the main motivator for all the big changes in my life. Give it up for Roy-woo hoo!!
I'm dying to do artwork, but gotta keep on keeping on the boxing up of my life so it's all set and ready to go. So, keep the commissions and purchasing of my artwork coming my way so I have lots of work to do once I get settled in and organized. If it wasn't for the work you all have given me I would've been far off from reaching this goal to get things taken care of for my wife & I. It's gonna be a long struggle ahead, but at least we'll be in a better place to make it happen.
So, since I have no super fresh artworks to share, here's a few odds and ends of stuff I may not have posted to keep your eyeballs fed til some new stuff spews forth from my gnarly hands!
