TRADING IN MY SPEEDOS FOR SPURS!

Well, this may be my last post from California. This time next week I will be boxing up the computer and moving out to the middle of nowhere- a small town in Texas miles away from civilization. I haven't had much time to work on art, it's been nothing but boxing up of all my junk for the move. Over the weekend, we did have one last hurrah when we spent the weekend with friends in Burbank, drinkin' it up, screaming our brains out at The Universal Halloween Horror Haunts and then Sunday, a nice day at The LACMA to check out the massive and very inspiring Tim Burton Exhibit! Lotsa fun!

Gonna miss all my friends and the art scene out here big time, but who knows. Maybe I'll start a new art community out in the boonies of Texas. There, I will actually have a studio to work in, so I can do some bigger paintings without worrying about getting paint everywhere. So that's gonna be a good thing. It's gonna be an adventure and a huge culture shock, but what the hell, I've always been an outsider anyways.
After next Thursday I'll be on the move and there will be awhile where I will have very limited internet, so I thought I'd post some of my latest works since it'll be awhile before I get back to the drawing boards. Here they be-

HIT GIRL VS. BOLTIE My dream DEADLIEST WARRIOR episode. Who wouldn't love to see that?

ZAPPKAT AND THE MADRIGALZ MEET THE PRIESTS OF DITKO

RAGZ DANDELION

MOTHER MARY NEBULA

ROCK N' ROLL WEREWOLF

SURREALISTIC SISTERS

LOOKING AT ME FROM THE DARKNESS

NOVA AND WARLOCK

MADRIGALZ

TRIAL OF THE SLAYER OF ANGELS

MUTHOR GODDESS

Whew! That's alot of stuff! But it may be a month before I get a chance to post anything. Of course, if I doodle up anything worth posting before the move I'll throw 'em up here quickly like!

So, again, it's gonna be a whole new world when I get to Texas. If anyone in Texas wants to throw me a line and get me connections into the art world out there I would greatly appreciate it! Once everything is set up and organized I'll post pictures of my new studio which I will dub THE RAGZ DAVIDIAN STUDIOS. Keep checking back because I will post as soon as possible when I get back online. Thanks to everyone in Vegas & California for all the awesome times, friendships, adventures and misadventures.

I say you should all join me in Texas.
We can start the RAGZ DAVIDIAN ART MOVEMENT! What d'ya say! LET'S DO IT!!!

SO SAYETH I!!

The Last Sketchys

Last Sunday was the last Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School in Anaheim,CA I was able to attend before I begin my big move to Texas in October. There's one in Houston, but it's about an hour & a half away from where I'll be living and I'm not sure if I'll be able to make them. So, this was a little sad for me. I've met some really cool people there, was inspired by some incredible artwork and got to draw some amazing sexy models, and many cool artwork has sprung forth from these sessions. But, hopefully the move to Texas will lead to some new artistic adventures. Thanks to Kelly Castillo & Nick Rothweiler, owners of the equally as awesome Rothick Art Haus gallery in Anaheim,CA for hosting the Dr. Sketchy's sessions. I'll miss ya'all!

Here's the sketches from the evening.

SPONGE WORTHY!!

I really need a new digital graphics tablet. The one I have is small and janky and it's making it very difficult to do any painting or artwork in Photoshop or other programs lately. But I did a few recent pieces, but kind of quicky jobs, because I'm losing my patience with them-

A BAD DAY TO BE A SPONGE
So, it's been mostly back to the traditional painting tools, which I prefer anyways. Lotsa nice and messy paints and pastels and ink. Check 'em out-
