Sketchies of various characters that will probably make an appearance in RAGZNAROK sooner or later.
And some other drawings from my sketchbook-

RAGZNAROK & ROLL OVER!
I'm pretty happy with the pages I've done so far for my graphic novel, RAGZNAROK,
which I hope to have finished by the end of the year. Like I've
mentioned before, it's a mix of all my fave types of
comics-horror,post-apocalyptic, a smidgeon of superhero, and
supernatural themes-and it will feature many different stories and
characters, but all connected with a common theme. I have a long way to
go with it yet. I want to post scans of the pages, but alas, I must
wait. I need something for your eyeballs to soak in when you buy it.
Can't give it all away for free. But, I thought it might interest you to
see some scans of concept sketches, scribblingz and other artwork of
ideas being worked out. Here's but a few of those-
The character Ragzdandelion in various poses.
Part of the process for me is creating the perfect pose for a panel for maximum impact. My biggest problem with thumbnailing things out, is I go a little overboard with the renderings. They should be simple and quick, but I always get too much into it. That is part of the problem of why it's taking me so long to get it done.
I also designed a cool ass vehicle in which The Ragzdandelion gets around in. A gypsy caravan being pulled by a hopped up tryke.
And another character, The Critterwitch, will be in the magazine. This is a "concept" piece where I'm working out the look of the character as a little girl and her surroundings, mainly a pond, which plays a major part in her story.
So, there ya go. Some teasers to wet your eye sockets with. More will be coming in the future. Just can't wait til you all see the final book. It's gonna rock. It's gonna RAGZNAROK!

PAINT 'EM IF YOU GOT 'EM!
The major project I have been working on has been me trying to quit
smoking!! Yeeps! That's a toughy, cuz while I work on artwork, one of
the things that helps me to remain focused on the project is smokin'.
So, it's been alot of nail biting, wall climbing, pea soup spewing
madness while trying to exorcise that dastardly demon!
It's not too bad today, and I've gotta get back to my graphic novel, but I thought I'd share some of my recent paintings n' such before gettin' back to work.
