FUNDRAISING TO MOVE TO GET HEALTHCARE UPDATE!!!

So the campaign to raise funds so we can move to Michigan has been pretty good so far. I've been amazed at the response from friends, family & fans that want to help. And it's been a major help!! We still have a ways to go, but I will be continuing to offer great deals on artwork, prints, sketchbooks and more til we make the move(we are shooting for late February.)
For those not in the know, my wife and I both suffer from some health issues, and we don't have any health insurance. My issues aren't great, but managable. But my wife, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2006, has problems much more urgent. WE thought we had the cancer taken care of in 2006, but we suspect that it has returned. We have moved around the country in the past few years in hope of getting her some healthcare so that we can get her situation taken care of, and get back on our feet. So far, we haven't had any luck. If you don't have health insurance, no doctor will see you. And the longer we wait, the worse it is getting for her. We are running out of time. And, we are desperate.
Fortunatly, we have come in contact with some people that may be able to help us in Michigan. Plus, I have family & friends there that will be able to help us.
So, we are trying to raise money to cover the cost of moving and getting situated so we can finally get this problem taken care of. and get back on our feet so we can progress in our goal.

LET'S GET OUR FREAK ON AT THE FLINT HORROR CON!

One last post before heading on out to Flint, MI for THE FLINT HORROR CON!
Pretty excited about this convention, as it's not only a whole day of awesome spookiness and creepy monster stuff, but also, because it's my return to my hometown, the place that spawned THE RAGZTER!!
I'm looking forward to seeing old friends, making new ones and getting my freak on with all my fellow fans of horror!
I have tons of artwork for sale, prints and sketchbooks, so please saunter on over to my table and take a gander and to say "HI"!!
I will have two of my bestest buddies from way back helping me out, Roy Walters & Shawn Colton(who is diligently working on writing his LEGENDS OF THE BOO-MONSTER book, for which I am doing the artwork for).
Our plans aren't set in stone yet for what we will be doing after the convention(it's gonna be a long day!) but follow my Facebook page for any updates http://www.facebook.com/pages/RagzDandelion/105897959925?ref=hl

I can't wait to see ya all!!!

Til then, here's just a small smidgeon of the artwork I will have there-

THE RETURN OF THE RAGZTER!!

By this time next week I'll be at THE FLINT HORROR CON, donning the top hat, showing & selling(hopefully) some artwork, meeting other fellow fans of the ghoulie flix and being reunited with my cast of characters from way back! It's been a long time since I've been back to my old stomping grounds of Flint,Michigan!!
I've been tying up some loose ends, finishing up some works and getting it all together,so there hasn't been much new artwork to show off, still, here be a few that I've done in the past month or two not posted here yet-mostly sketch cards.
I can't wait to meet ya'all there, please stop by my table, and hang out with The Ragzter! It's gonna be a blast!!

IN BLACK & WHITE & COLOR!

Before & After drawings. There's something about straight ahead black & white sketch drawings that I like alot more than color works, but people really seem to want color pieces more, especially for sketch cards. What'doo ya think?

ARTWORK THAT FITS IN YOUR POCKET!

I've recently been working on getting into the sketchcard industry. It's challenging to draw something in such a small space that looks cool, but I've been playing around with it,trying to find the right tools for the medium and it's a good work out for my creativity. Plus, it's fun! I'm new to this style of work, done some new cards for a series that will be out sometime this year and awaiting approval on them, so I can't show them yet, but here are some other cards I've done to get more comfortable with the format. Enjoy!

RAGZTERS, TACOS,SCRIBBLES & SCKETCHLES!

We all had a great time at the ART CRAWL EXPERIENCE last Saturday night in Anaheim, CA . Lots o' cool artwork on display and being made, a handful of awesome old cars parked for us to gawk at and, well, a cool way to spend a Saturday night. One of my favorite works on display was at the SARAH BAIN GALLERY which had a show featuring the paintings and sculptures of DR. SEUSS. I had never seen any of his artwork like this before and it was awesome. Here be some photos of the awesomeness-

There's just too much great art from the show that I would like to post, but just not enough room. But I did meet up with David Castro from TACO COMICS and we traded sketch cards artwork. Here's what he did for me-

And here are the cards I drew up for him-
